Pokez (downtown) was VERY well priced, lots of good food for cheap ($6 for huge plate). Nature's Express, Jyoti-Bihanga, Vo's Garden, and Loving Hut were quite reasonably priced and delicious! Stephanie's Bakery (in Ocean Beach) has sandwiches for $6.50 and strudel for $3 a slice ($1.50 for day-old but still tasty strudel), and People's Co-op is a block away from it.

The downtown harbor, Ocean Beach, Sunset Cliffs, Dog Beach, Pacific Beach, Old Town San Diego, Balboa Park, Shelter Island and its Friendship Bell, the piers at all the various beaches. All of these are free if you just want to swim or look around!
