The kitchen in the hostel is large & well-equipped. You can bring your own food to cook. However, there are numerous small eateries around the town. Note: this hostel is in downtown Sacramento. The streets are usually fairly quiet at night. Office crowds dominate the scene during lunch time. |

The Capital building is lighted up at night. There are always some venues on K-street (where the lightrail runs). |

Check out the old Sacramento & its railroad museum, etc. It's only a few blocks from the hostel, within walking distance. The Westfield mall is also a few blocks away. |
