Head up to the Grande-Alleé rather than Rue St. Jean for nightlife. Chez Dagobert, Les Voutes de Napoleon are both classics with different vibes--Dagobert is more of an upscale club, whereas Les Voutes is more like a college dive bar. L'Inox, however, was our group's favorite--good beers and friendly staff. |

| HI Hostel HI-Québec CityHI-Québec City hostel is situated in a historic building in the heart of Quebec City's old town - which is a World Heritage Site. There are 279 beds, and facilities include self-catering kitchen, internet access, library, table tennis and laundry. The hostel also offers cultural and historic programmes, guided walking tours and outdoor activities. Quebec City hostel is located right in the heart of the Old Quebec city, inside the walls and fortifications. It is by walking distance from the Château Frontenac and the main touristic and cultural attractions of the city. The largest hostel in Canada we can accomodate close to 280 travellers. We offer dorms as well as private room with or without bathroom.
