Went to the annual Pigeon Point Lighthouse "lighting event" and it was memorable. We got to see the Fresnel lens light up the sky. The lens was in use for 100 continuous years before it was replaced by the current automated system. Technology that saved many lives and still works today.

HI Hostel Pescadero - Pigeon Point Lighthouse
