we loved the local hungarian bakery up Amsterdam Avenue. cozy space to walk to at nite. visiting columbia university if a nice stroll and stretch for a few hours on your first nite. central park was lovely. Lion king fabulous and worth the ticket price. walking across the Brooklyn Bridge, my favorite thing. Also check out the "highline" in the meat packing district, lovely views. |

Hmm, tricky. I struggled to find what I call good food in Santa Monica. The third floor food court in the new mall on 2nd and Broadway has good choices (not all sodas, burgers, fries and no vegetables). |
