27 Aug 2011 Donna, USA:
Koronet Pizza, 110th & Broadway. Looks unassuming, but pizza is delicious and the slices are huge. Roti Roll, Amsterdam between 108th and 109th. It's like a burrito except made with roti flatbread and Indian food. Pair one of these with fresh vegetables and fruit from one of the neighborhood's several produce stands and you are soooo set. Garden of Eden, Broadway between 110th and (I think) 108th. Sandwiches are huge and they may throw in a free soft drink. Absolute Bagel, on Broadway a couple of doors down from the McDonald's near 105th. The real deal: They're boiled before they're baked! |
