Cooking in hostel kitchen with food bought at Grand Union or Stop & Shop supermarkets.Check out what leftover food is in kitchen before you purchase a lot of food..they might have condiments, etc. |

Other comments: BRING YOUR OWN BIKE!! Much cheaper. Also be aware that bus shuttle service to Surfside does't start until 6/20 or so; you'll have to walk about a mile+ from nearest bus stop if you visit earlier in the summer |

| HI Hostel HI - Nantucket There is plenty of untouched nature and a wealth of history to discover on Nantucket Island.
The hostel, complete with cupola, was built as a lifesaving station in 1873. The hostel, listed on the National Register of Historic Places,is across the street from Surfside Beach.
Don't miss the Whaling Museum to learn about the island's fascinating past.
Explore by bicycle, inline skates, kayak, or on foot. Finish your day off with a seafood dinner or a sunset on the beach.
