There's a burger stand at Surfside Beach, so you can grab a bite to eat without even leaving the beach area right around the hostel. |

Check out the village of Sconset on the east side of the island. Recommend taking the Poplis Rd. bus as the views are great. |

HI Hostel HI - Nantucket There is plenty of untouched nature and a wealth of history to discover on Nantucket Island.
The hostel, complete with cupola, was built as a lifesaving station in 1873. The hostel, listed on the National Register of Historic Places,is across the street from Surfside Beach.
Don't miss the Whaling Museum to learn about the island's fascinating past.
Explore by bicycle, inline skates, kayak, or on foot. Finish your day off with a seafood dinner or a sunset on the beach.
