The beach. Surfside beach is a block away and truly is beautiful and perfect if you like big waves and deeper water. Not much else to do on the island but hit up the beach. |

| HI Hostel HI - Nantucket There is plenty of untouched nature and a wealth of history to discover on Nantucket Island.
The hostel, complete with cupola, was built as a lifesaving station in 1873. The hostel, listed on the National Register of Historic Places,is across the street from Surfside Beach.
Don't miss the Whaling Museum to learn about the island's fascinating past.
Explore by bicycle, inline skates, kayak, or on foot. Finish your day off with a seafood dinner or a sunset on the beach.
