If you don't mind a hike with hills . . . go downhill to the bluffs and shore for the scenery. Go to 6th. and Harbor Blvd, "Ports O' Call", and at Fisherman's Seafood Restaurant (and market) enjoy fish & chips ($8) while listening to live music and watching a huge cargo ship pass through the channel just yards away from the outdoor covered dining area. It's noisy and packed with people. The Maritime museum has friendly, helpful staff. |
