Manoa Falls in the vicinity of the hostel. Very muddy walk up but the falls were 150 feet high and worth seeing. The Bishop Museum, besides memorabilia and history about the Hawaiian monarchy, has a great Hawaiian clothing exhibit right now with the clothing (Hawaiian shirts and dresses and bathing suits) of the great 50's designer Alfred Shaheen; very well done and beautiful exhibit if you like vintage. |
