Getting out of the Loop. There was an excellent gyros place on Broadway, four blocks away from the red line station on Sheridan. It was cheap and typical chicagoan fare. Parthenon Pizza on Ohio had good, affordable Italian food. |

Samah; smoking hookah was a great way to relax after a long day running around the city and it was very affordable! |

Free Days at Museums. Despite some crowds, its nice to not pay a lot to see the great collections the city has. Lincoln Park is a fun place too- don't just stay on Michigan Ave. Get out into the neighborhoods to experience the real Chicago! |

The "Bean", or Cloud Gate as it is probably known. One of the coolest public art pieces I have ever seen. Also, if you're into architecture, there is a small and FREE museum near the Bean about the history of architecture in Chicago. |
