Not as many good inexpensive restaurants around as I expected, but the Cafecito attached to the hostel was the tops. |

07 Nov 2011 Chris, USA:
Just walk around and listen. Chicago is a great town for people who listen to the sounds that surround them. |

07 Nov 2011 Diane, USA:
No go with the Panera place across the street - the asian woman "pretended" she didn't understand I wanted $3.00 soup... I walked out. It was low. |

07 Nov 2011 Lore, Belgium:
Go to the hancock tower lounge instead of the observatory. Same view, almost same price, but drink included :-) |
|
|
06 Nov 2011 Lien, USA:
Free Breakfast in the hostel. Meals in Chicago are quite pricey |
|
|
06 Nov 2011 Collin, USA:
Hancock Tower observatory much better than Sears (Willis) Tower. Ride the Brown Line for a circuit of the Loop. Take the Green Line clear to the end to be within blocks of walking tours of about a dozen Frank Lloyd Wright houses, and sit at the front of the train for great view of the city on your way back in. |

06 Nov 2011 Candice, USA:
the area around the FIELD MUSEUM, ADLER and SOLDIER FIELDS - there's tiny beach there. honestly, you dont have to go into these places of attractions, you just need to take the time to walk around the area where these attractions are located, you'll have a pretty experience of the breathe taking view of the chicago skyline (: a walk through UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO - absolutely gorgeous campus, <3 totally in love with the campus, lots of well known places to eat on campus. (: |
