The Panera on State and Congress is a great place for brunch! Get a power sandwich and a smoothie and you won't need to eat until 4 or 5, it's great if you're going to Lollapalooza and want a healthy breakfast with fruit, protein, and grains. =) If you're not so health-conscious, there is a Dairy Queen right on the corner that hit the spot. You can also get some of Chicago's famous Garrett's popcorn on State and Madison, a short walk away from the hostel.
