I worked my way from the hostel to the waterfront to Fells point, to Little Italy, then bk to hostel, then to South Charles and Cross at the Cross market. I actually made it to Lexington Market early in morning at 09:30, hit the Broadway Market in Fells, by lunch, and dinner Cross Market. This is where I went for the Jazz festival on Sunday. Cross and S. Charles nice place to hang. The BMA Museum is free, watch the freq. of buses on return. had to wait 1 hr and wound up walking to Penn Station. This cities ground transportation is great. paid $3.50 from the airport to any bus all day. Couldn't beat it. The purple buses Charms route are free. Used them too. Just awesome.

Alewife is a great bar if you're into craft beer. Plenty of good brews on tap, with staff that are open about making beer recommendations based on your preferences. Although I didn't have any, other patrons told me that the food is excellent.
