All other hostels in iceland we stayed at were nice and friendly but this one was not worth a stay there. Höfn was definitly our worst stay at all, we did not even get some instruction about the little facilities the hostel offers. The bathrooms were as comfortable as at common N1-gas-stations and really not good for the high iceland-hostel-standard. Everything was just "for use", nothing friendly or just a bit nice. Nobody seems to care about the guests pleasure, it is only a save place to stay. Moreover the staff failed to help us to get back our reservation deposit since they changed our booking made online. Therefore we were charged for the full amount and had furthermore to pay the booking deposit of our cancelled online booking. |
