The Lobster Restaurant next to the hostel! Definitely not a budget meal, but this is a restaurant worth spending your money on. If a person were to spend one or two good meals on their trip, this should be one of them. A plate of lobster tails in their juice with bread to dip in the sauce. Quite exellcent!

The local farmer's market above the maritime museum that was one-minute walking distance towards the harbor was nice to relax with some tea and read a book.

HI Hostel Höfn

With the sea on three sides and Vatnajökull, the biggest glacier in Europe, to the northwest, Höfn is a breathtakingly lovely town with 1500 inhabitants. The town is a bustling fishing and fish processing port as well as a commercial centre, with considerable farming in the neighbouring areas. The Hostel is to be found in the city centre and all necessary services are close by. The location of Höfn allows you to choose from an unusual variety of activities.
