the bastille. I took the cable car up and walked down and unless you're really sporty i'd recommend this for you to! Because there are so many more interesting bits to the bastille on the way down |

From bus station you have several otions to go to various ski resorts, e.g. Chamrousse, Alpe de Huez, Les Deux Alps, etc. You have to leave quite realy though (take bus no 1) |

Serre Chevalier (Briancon) - do check bus and train times, buses take 2.5 hours, but are not so many, train takes a lot longer with a change in Gap. Annecy YH is also great, with skiing option in Sermnoz nearby or La Clusaz. |
