06 Nov 2010 Pat, England & Wales:
In down town Grenoble a boulangerie provided the bread, a few doors away a cheese shop to die for provided the cheese, some wine appeared from somewhere, a bit of salad from one of the myriad of fruit/veg stalls, Grenoble provided a rather nice park near the University, fill of sculptures. Total cost (with enough left over for at least two more picnics) was around €9. The most expensive thing was some small pastry. |
