The pommes frites place, near the Gravensteen, ask in the reception for directions. Really good pommes frites and fried meat. |

Gravensteen, really cool old castle near teh hostel. Also just walk around the city center, beautiful houses, churches and bridges. It is a very nice town! |

Try PUUR.. A great cafe using finest quality ingredients! Try the hot chocolate & you will be addicted! Its on Hogpoort Street. Also on the Ghent map & guide they give you at check in, theres this chip (or frite) van called Josef.. Its a little hard to find, but on the back of his van is his name. Order them exactly the way he guide suggests! Hand cut chips still exist! |
