Both nearby restaurants are recommended, one is directly up the stairs from the hostel, the other one is a 1km walk through the wood (steep) or a bit further over the road. |

Harbour & Aquarium, historic part of the town, like Via Garibaldi, Cable car down from / up to Righi, which you can reach by bus easily. |

Just East or West at the coast, or up into the mountains. Here you'll have it all, plus a city with a population of about 600,000. Very nice place. And that blue of the Mediterranean can't be reproduced artificially; you have to experience that yourself. |
