20 Aug 2011 Ken, Canada:
Eat with the locals: go left out the front door, turn left at the next major street, then right at the next one. About half way down the block on the LH side of the road there are vendors selling "hgot pot" foods at night" Yummy. OTOH, Right on the corner of the block (remember you have walked 2 complete blocks by now) there is a bakery on the left and a restaurant on the right. The restaurant has VERY nice food for 5 to 12 Yuan. Certainly better nutrition than the overpriced food at the hostel. |
