The area around it is also lovely and if you have a bit of time it is is possible to get into some nice countryside although this means finding your way out of Foligno first! |

In such a nice location the choice is yours. Roma, Napoli and the mountains are all accessible. This was the end of my few days and I had to head back. The train journey to Ancona on the coast was spectacular. The mountains were beautiful on the way down. |

Orvieto, Assisi (!!!), Perugia, Cascata della Marmore (lovely!!! waterfalls, near Terni, we walked around for about 3 or 4 hours and you keep wondering with every step if it can get any more beautiful!) |

There's a great pizzeria (take away) just around the corner (go right at the end of the street from the hostel) and you see it right across the street at the right corner) - they have a 1 meter pizza!!! |
