You probably won't be able to string Flam out for more than a day or two, unless you get on the (expensive) Flam railway, and walk back. Head out of Flam (on the railway) to Burgan or Oslo

HI Hostel Flåm

Flåm YH is a seasonal hostel, which is opened from the1st April till 31st October. The hostel is situated at the end of Norway's steepest train ride; the Flåm Railway and the Navvies' Road cycling track from Haugastøl via Finse (1,222 metre above sea level) to Vatnahalsen and then down the Flåm valley. Being situated at a narrow sidearm of the Sognefjord there are daily ferry and boat connections to a.o. Balestrand, Fjærland, Gudvangen and Bergen. | more......
