Wadi David, its next to the hostel. Dead sea is 5 minutes by car. |
19 Jul 2011 David, Canada:
Meals are great at the hostel, breakfast and dinner. |
19 Jul 2011 David, Canada:
Better to walk to the beach from the hostel for your dead sea swim, it is only a 10 minute walk and it is free compared with the En Gedi Spa a five minuts bus ride away. |
07 Jul 2011 Gabriele, Germany:
bring the filling for the fridge with allong if you don't want to book meals at the hostel, no restaurants in walking distance... supermarket at the kibbuz, (next busstop) |
07 Jul 2011 Gabriele, Germany:
an early bath in the waterfalls before the crowd of other tourists are arriving... |

13 Apr 2011 Jeremy, England & Wales:
The Isrotel Hotel about 20k down the road in the Ein Bokek complex. The bar meals are reasonably priced and very good (+ good portion sizes). It feels luxurious but the price is right and they don't mind people dropping in, ie you don't have to be staying at the hotel to eat there. |
13 Apr 2011 Jeremy, England & Wales:
Walking in the moonlight! This is a very quiet area, excellent for peaceful reflection and good conversation over wine. There are NO places to party nearby!!! |
13 Apr 2011 Jeremy, England & Wales:
Ein Gedi spa: mud, freshwater pool (great for the kids), sulphur pools and showers + best beach to enter the Dead Sea from. |
13 Apr 2011 Jeremy, England & Wales:
Jerusalem is an easy day trip (1 hour away). Mamshit is an hour in the other direction and has a great camel ranch for camel rides. Also, Eilat is only a few hours south from here. |
18 Feb 2011 Kathryn, USA:
The kibbutz up the road. The food everywhere else is overpriced and uninspiring. |
