There seem to be a lot of cozy little restaurants right in the heart of the city near the plazza, plus there's a bustelling pedestrian zone hidden away just past the monument. |

We came through the town around 22:00 and drove through the plazza and there were lots of people sitting in cafes, pubs and restaurants. It seemed happy and cozy. |

Definately the plazza and the pedestrain zone, and perhaps the lake if you've got a little spare time and like natur stuff. Parking is cheap at the parking lot in the heart of town, it's just 0,50 Euro per hour, plus there's a little blue and white train that apparently drives around town. |

| HI Hostel Echternach The youth hostel is in itself a true sport, entertainment and activity centre. It is located right in the middle of a recreation centre with an artificial lake. You'll find a play area for children a few minutes away by foot. Regular activities (fitness, climbing, nordic walking …) are available for guests. Mountain bikes and nordic walking sticks rental at the hostel. The sports hall and the climbing wall can be booked for clubs and school parties. All rooms are en-suite.
The hostel is fitted for weelchair access.
Our team offers flexible meal arrangement with even full board (breakfast, packed lunch and dinner). Luxembourgish specialties and vegetarian meals can be prepared on request.
