Being on the waterfront in the late afternoon (around 5pm or so) for people watching. When I was there in late September, there was a hive of activity - lots of people just sitting on the steps and watching the boats drift by; others (presumably uni students?!) playing games; others 'dancing' to music on their skates/mini skateboards...
