This is an expensive city! Supermarkets across the river are good value. For a splash out try Ankara Turkish Restaurant (Vesterbrogade 35 and 96) - they do a great all you can eat buffet and the drinks aren't too expensive. We really enjoyed coffee and cakes at Louisiana. |

Lousiana, National Gallery, Canal Tour, Zoo (elephant house) and the opera house. This is a lovely city. It is worth considering buying a Copenhagen Card - free entry and free travel. We bought one at the airport - got us into central station without any hassle. |

Check the Free Museum (Nation Museum), Castle, and Little Mermaid on first day. Then buy a 229 DKK Pass the same day and use it for next 24 hours to see the rest of the museums. |
