I am not interested in nightlife myself. Go for a walk in the dark: just behind the hostel is Villa Olmo and the lake and its great to see all the lights of the surrounding areas around the lake.

Don't miss to go around the lake: by bus or boat. It has a wonderful scenery. And take the cable car so you have a great view.

HI Hostel Como - Villa Olmo

A lakeside vacation here is a wonderful experience that's hard to forget. There are also lots of other things to see: besides stunning Lake Como, which can be crossed to the other side by frequent erries, there is the beautiful art and the shopping in nearby towns - all easily reachable. Travel to a town where it's possible to buy silk at a discount, for instance. The list of activities here is so long that there's no chance of being bored in Como, the commercial crossroads between Europe and Italy.
