I ate their food, which was expensive, as everything is in Uruguay, but good. You could walk to town if you wanted to buy your own food, there is also a bus but only once a day. |

The food at el Galope is simple but tasty and good value too. Eating with the other guests is part of the experience. Take some snacks with you too because there are no shops unless you head into town. |

El Galope offers a holiday from a holiday. Enjoy beer/wine with other travelers after dinner but don't expect to party/dance all night long. |

16 Feb 2012 Jenna, USA:
The food at El Galope is delicious and home cooked, however I would bring some snacks with you for throughout the day, as there are only a few meals offered. It's in the country as well, so restaurants are not really an option. |
