There are some awesome caves--las Grutas de la Estrella and las Grutas de Cacahuamilpa--in Guerrero, a 3 hour trip. In Ixtapan de la Sal, a 2 hour trip, there is an enormous waterpark that's best in the warmer part of the year (April-September). If ruins are your thing, there are some cheap, quality ruins in Tenango and Malinalco. |
