Auberge Des Lices had the best food in Carcassonne but it is a fancy restaurant. there are lots of cafes available |

There is nothing to do at night but drink in a cafe in the Cite. In the town we found the stores closed on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday - only opening Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sat. |
