It's not on a budget at all, but the steak house voted #1 in South Africa for 4 years running is literally within eye shot of the front door. Possibly the best steak I have ever had |

If you're willing to spend a little bit more, you should definitely try Nelson's Eye Grill and Restaurant. It's right down the street and for the quality of steak they have there, it's really not all that expensive. You won't regret it! |

cable car for the less energetic to the top of the mountain but many members climbed it in an hour! much cheaper! the 6th District Museum-- very moving. Cape of Good Hope drive along the coast |
