mi matute, two blocks down thames towards santa fe. empanadas for 2 pesos and pizzas for 11. also on the corner of charcas and thames there's tonno, that's a little more expensive than mi matute (like 3 pesos for the empanada and 18 for the pizza) but it's a lot yummier (try the queso light empanada) and it's a cute place to sit down and take your time eating |

cumen-cumen for empanadas.... on borges, just a few blocks up from paraguay in palermo. filo in retiro on the 900 block of san martin... a little pricey but the best itialian. |

| HI Hostel Buenos Aires - HI Tango Backpackers Palermo Tango Backpackers is the most recommended hostel in Palermo, Buenos Aires. This noisy and party hostel consists of several converted old style properties, linked through halls and staircases, which conclude in a large terrace that invite guests to relax, sunbathe and enjoy in the open air. This hostel is one of the HI network of hostels in Argentina, and one of nine hostels in the Buenos Aires area. In the lobby and reception area is the bar, which becomes the meeting point in the evenings, where the hostel guests from all over the world share experiences and organize the best outings at night around the clubs in Buenos Aires.
