I recommend you take the City tour bus. It cost 70 pesos and it shows you all of the most interesting sights in the city and then later you can go back and see places you want to have a closer look at. Go to San Telmo, Boca, the Recoleta cemetary, the Atena bookstore on Santa Fe (Used to be a grand theatre) Tigre on the weekend, The art museum near the Cemetary, Plaza de Mayo on Thursday to meet the mothers and grandmothers of the disappeared. Take a walking tour of the city also. Meet some locals if you can. Wonderful people.

Go to Rosario, take a boat to the island and swim in the river. Have a fish dinner at a fish restaurant across the street from the river. sorry don't know the name. It is rusic, outdoors and great value. Go to new Museo de la memorie in Rosario.
