Right next to the Hostel, there is a restaurant on the corner. The pizza was really nice. I ated Magarita, which is the cheapest one, but very nice!! |

A palinka or wine tasting at Faust Wine Cellar in the basement of Hotel Hilton (connected to the Buda Castle.) We chose to go to the Szechenyi Baths. They are a bit pricey (about $16/person) but very cool! I'm sure the Gellert Baths are just as neat. |

HI Hostel Budapest - Marco Polo Top HostelWelcome to the Marco Polo Top Ho(s)tel! Located in the heart of the city, this is the perfect HI (Hostelling International) youth hostel for anyone visiting Budapest, Hungary. The hostel is ideal for the individual travelers and for large or small groups alike. Everybody can find its preferred room type: single, twin, triple, quad or 12-bedded dormitories. Our twin and quad rooms are bright and comfy and have telephone and TV, plus en-suite bathrooms. Please notice, that our triple rooms are twin rooms + comfortable extra sofa bed! As for our dormitories, we've yet to find another anywhere that even comes close. Each spacious 12 bed room is divided into 2-bunk areas with their own lockers. Each dorm has a dedicated bathroom (inside the room) with two sinks, showers and WC's. Some of our FREE services (beside a lot more): • FREE WiFi in the lobby & terrace • FREE use of safe – take care of your valuables! • FREE Budapest map • FREE luggage room FRESH NEWS : February-March 2011: ALL WALLS ARE FRESHLY PAINTED AND CARPETS WERE CHANGED IN ALL OUR ROOMS Some policies to keep in mind: -We ask guests for a key deposit that will be returned when checking-out (1 000 HUF or 5 EUR) -We provide FREE towels for every guest in single, double, triple and four-bedded rooms (please ask for towels at the reception: we ask for a deposit that we give back at check-out) For dormitories: 500 HUF using fee + deposit. -This place is open for everyone, though PLEASE RESPECT your fellow travelers’ need – for example let them sleep after 22:00 – THANKS and HAVE FUN! | more...... |
