Todas las obras de Niemeyer. Desde la torre de T.V., a la cual se accede gratuitamente, se puede obtener una vista muy linda de todo el eje monumental. Si pueden, conozcan el Museu Vivo da Memória Candanga. |

11 Aug 2010 Ben, USA:
Carpe Diem, in Shopping Brasilia or 104 Sul. Also, Fogo de Chao, the best churrascaria in the city. Good beer and caipirinhas at Chiquita Bacana, Setor Comercial 209 Sul, opens around 5:30 p.m. every day. Also on that block (209 Sul) is Pizzaria/buffet San Marino, and the bakery/coffee shop/Sunday buffet lunch place Quitinete. A good area to go, overall, to get out of the hostel or central parts of the city. |

...the National Museum, and the interior of the Metropolitan Cathedral. Also, it's a schlep by taxi, but the Palacio da Alvorada is impressive. Finally, 3 hours bus ride away is the colonial and waterfall-packed treasure of Pirenopolis, which is very much worth the visit. Hike through jungle, swim in waterfalls, etc. Very nice. |

Pontao do Lago Sul, which has a sushi restaurant and a bar, and a nice view overlooking the lake. There's also a path for a romantic evening stroll. I don't know if a bus goes there, but you can take a taxi. |
