11 Mar 2012 Stijn, Belgium:
polar light: you can have a night walk to kaiser vaerden. On the summit there is an place to hide for the wind (you can even make little campfire) There is a road for cars closed in winter for cars to the summit. A road with two red sticks everry 20 m so it's easy to find your way even in winter and in the dark. An ideal activity while waiting for the polar light. Take with you a notebook or smartphone to check weather conditions and polar light conditions. The hostel has WIF but no computers. The only internet computer is in the library (but this is not open during night when therre is polar light) |
