Ulster Folk & Transport museum. short train ride from Belfast - in the country with plenty of picnic sites. Lagan canal walking distance from hostel. Newry canal - a day bike trip from Belfast (very safe) - take train to Portadowne. |

Denmark, Copenhagen Radvad. Reasonable price, great surroundings in the middle of the royal deer park which is open for walking, biking (bikes can be hired) even horse riding! Bus train ride from the city. |

| HI Hostel Belfast International The hostel is close to the city centre in the University area and offers easy access to Ulster Museum, the Botanic Gardens and is a short walk from City Hall. Accommodation is in 2, 4 and 6 bedded rooms in addition to 2 large dormitories on the top floor of the hostel and facilities include internet access, TV room, laundry and luggage storage.
