07 Dec 2010 Mathew, England & Wales:
Belfast if 'riddled' with both standard, and late night bars... It would be really unfair to highlight a single venue, because you should have a good time and a friendly Belfast welcome in most city centre estabishments... However .... Locally to HINI Belfast, try Lavery's (less than 100 Metres), they have entertainment IE; Live sports/live bands & DJ's, and pool tables every night of the week... Also, they have a Club open during weekends for latenight party-goers... B.T.W the famed 'Crown Liquor Saloon' bar (Belfast's oldest & owned by National Trust!!) is a little over-rated... "I've had better kept pints..." |

Museum/art gallery quite good. Falls Roads and Shankhill Road murals definitely worth a look. Day trip to Giants Causeway a must. |

07 Dec 2010 Mathew, England & Wales:
For breakfast the causeway cafe, in the YH offers good food, at good prices... For evening meals Try Benedicts hotel and bar, just down the road at Bradbury place, if you want to have an EARLIER evening meal... They have a 'beat the clock' offer between 5.30 & 7.00; The time you order is the price you pay (5.00 = £5.00 , 6.45 = £6.75 {{quarter to seven hours/pounds}}) .... You get the idea... Food there is pretty decent for the price (but on a much smaller limited menu than Table D'Hote outside promo hours For budget UK national chain food, there is a Wetherspoons pub 'The Bridge House' on Bedford street... The food is typical Wetherspoons so-so,but when you get a beer, burger & chips for about £5, you cant complain... |
