Don't miss... 29 Apr 2009 Mark, Netherlands:
the great wall and the forbidden city
Don't miss... 22 Mar 2009 Richard, USA:
DO the wall trip by yourself, don't trust the tour given by this hostel, they are not responsible for it, what you will get is an interpreter who tries to spend more time at places where they can get money from you selling their products than spend time in the Great Wall or showing you the best of their country. Beijing was the worst tour company I have ever had.
For great nightlife try... 12 Mar 2009 Benjamin, Philippines:
beijing is for history and sight seeing so dont expect extravagant nightlife
Don't miss... 12 Mar 2009 Benjamin, Philippines:
the olympic park, great wall and summer palace
For good eats check out... 12 Mar 2009 Benjamin, Philippines:
go to the nearest convenience store
Don't miss... 22 Feb 2009 Chris, USA:
Great wall @ Simatai. it's a bit of a trip out of town, but it's amazing spot!
For great nightlife try... 20 Feb 2009 Tse, Hong Kong:
Night market is great. A concert at the National Opera House is valuable. A night at the hostel with a cup of Latte and a pile of magazine is a MUST.
Don't miss... 20 Feb 2009 Tse, Hong Kong:
I enjoy very much the bottle yogart which is available at every small stall along the street.
20 Feb 2009 Tse, Hong Kong:
I would like to visit Beijing again in other seasons.
For good eats check out... 10 Nov 2008 Chris, Australia:
For breakfast head out along the bigger street that the hostel runs off and find a place with steam coming out the doors or near the entrance. DUmplings baby! The best with a bowl of soup. 10quai! Awesome.
