Guan Yin Si Jie near the hostel is an interesting street with old tea houses, restaurants selling dog meat, donkey meat, etc. In the evening, the neighbourhood gathered around the area to play Chinese chess and cards. It is not really a touristic area so don't expect those grey houses with red/blue roof that the government are building all over Beijing right now. |
