Don't miss... 03 Nov 2008 Delfien, Belgium:
We took a studentbike ( for 1 euro/hour, min. 5 hours) and biked up the Mont Juivik (or something...). It was really though but we made it to the top, with an amaziiiinggg view as surprise. Then we biked to Parc Guëll, so in fact we biked around and in Barcelona. First I was bit scared of the crazy taxidrivers, but actually it's quite ok, we're still alive :) For me, the best way to discover a city is just by bike. Take your cityguide-book and you save A LOT OF money (normally that elevator = 10 euros!!) We also visited Sagrada Familia, which is 8 euros for students = toooo much, cause you don't see anything inside (they're still working on it). If you saw the outside, you saw the main part. But the tower on the other hand is worth it (+2,5 euros extra). Go to Palau de la Musica, it's so ooo oooo beautiful!
For good eats check out... 17 Nov 2008 Muriel, England & Wales:
Avoid central areas. Try out of the way, smaller streets.
