18 May 2009 Joshua, Canada:
bocadillos! at least one shop/takeout place on every street sells cheap sandwiches called bocadillos which are definitely your best bet for cheap eats in this city where restaurants can be pricey. if you want a good restaurant meal try a place caled "Vin y something" it is on the same street as the main barcelona train station and you get a jug of good local red wine free with your meal. tough to order there if you don't speak spanish though, in my experience. |

09 Oct 2008 Shyam, USA:
AVOID eating at La Rambla (but don't miss visiting). It is extremely commercialized. We got a Sangria which was just OK. If you are an average american you may like the food but the real Spanish food is in the Bari Gothic Area near Metro 'Juame' |
