HI Hostel Barcelona - Mare de Deu de MontserratAre you thinking of coming to visit Barcelona? And you want to find accommodation to spend your unforgettable holidays? If you are the type that fancies a corner in our gardens simply to relax or write your journal with your experiences and impressions of Barcelona in our pleasant terrace after an incredible day out in the city, this is your hostel. We are located in a very quiet area of Barcelona, yet at only 15 minutes by tube from downtown (L3 Vallcarca Station, exit Rep. Argentina), or by daily buses (line 28 will take you to the city center and line 92 that goes through Sagrada Familia to Bogatell and Nueva Icaria Beaches). At night, since the hostel is opened 24 hs, you can reach our facilities by night bus (N5). If you drive here, the hostel provides free parking and if you are part of a school group, you can park the coach for the whole duration of your stay. You will love to be able to sleep in a house more than 100 years old, with a Modernist architecture combined with a Neomoorish style that was refurbished in 1983 to become the first hostel in Barcelona and to be able to accommodate 209 people. You will be able to share your experiences in 6, 8 and 12 bed rooms with people from all the corners of the world. You will be able to keep your belongings in individual lockers with key and the day you leave, keep your luggage in free lockers. Sheets and breakfast are included in the price because you deserve a good night rest and a good meal in the morning. It will help you to enjoy yet another day in Barcelona. In our hostel there is a restaurant, where you can eat a full menu or if you want to snack between meals, you will be able to choose from pizzas or paellas. Internet, pool, TV, board games, assistance guides in several languages that will help you to plan your trip, auditorium, meeting room, vending machines with drinks, snacks and coffee will keep your company during your stay as well as the friendly and helpful staff that you will fin to help you with your questions, information or request that you may have.
