baiyoke tower 2. tallest building in bangkok. can go to top for 200 baht (£4) or pay 400 baht (£8) and eat at the restaurant. every kind of food you can imagine and all you can eat! then free entry to top floor! bargain!! don'd be scared by the street vendors, the stalls on the side of the road are fantastic and extremely cheap! if you can see them cooking the food your definately safe!
For great nightlife try... 20 Apr 2009 Mitchell, England & Wales:
gullivers bar, khao san road or the roof bar/restuarant at night on khao san road. theres plenty of good bars full of friendly tourists all along khao san road.
Don't miss... 20 Apr 2009 Mitchell, England & Wales:
grand palace (350 baht entry) £7, around 400 baht (£8) for guided tour but you can have up to 4 people.
20 Apr 2009 Mitchell, England & Wales:
hope this was kind of helpful!! mitchelljackson@hotmail.co.uk
Don't miss... 15 Mar 2009 Ravi, India:
The long tail tourist boat rips you of 650 baht. The floating market isn't all that great. Even the Chao Phraya Tourist boat which gives you unlimited rides at 120 baht is not necessary, as you can't use the boat more than 4or 5 times, and you can buy a single ticket on the boat for 18 baht every time you get on. That's still less than 120 baht. The sky train is the fastest way to reach the tourist spots if you are in a hurry.
