Brasov - Hostel Mara, Helen, Canada:
bran castle- take bus to terminal 2 for 1.50ron, then minibus to bran castle for 6ron. quite easy -takes 45mins. can also take train to Sinaia to see Peles castle 30ron for train. watch out for taxi drivers in brasov. will try to charge you 10 euros (40ron) when trip to hostel is only 10ron. |

I ate at the old, classic restaurant in Old Town, Caru cu Bere and it was the best experience and inexpensive. goo there for a great meal and time. |

Sibiu - The Old Town Hostel, Lucian, Roumanie:
There is a nice sandwich restaurant with in-house cooked bread, very slightly North of the Brukenthal museum. Or, if you have time, you can go to the mall for a KFC & Mac (some 25 minutes' walk south-west). |
