matisse museum is a short bus ride away from the centre of town or a longish walk - it's free to visit & has excellent material on display - if you get inspired, i'd recommend a bus ride out to Vence (about 1 hour) to visit the Chapel of the Rosary - he designed everything there, even the priest's vestments, toward the end of his life - it's probably his masterpiece - odd opening hours so check the website before you go |

Akathor Pub in Old Town. Happy Hour from 5-9 is great with cheap drinks and live music out front... Turns into a good bar with live music at night too. |
