There is a good Greek restaurant just around the corner from the hostel. Went here the first night as we had arrived quite late on by the time we got to the hostel and had a great inexpensive meal.

Englisher Garten when the weather is good. The whole youth population of the city seems to go here. We had a great afternoon in the shade of a tree drinking bier. We then went over for yet more Bier and food at the Hofbrauhaus Pagoda. Fantastic.

Berlin. Move north and enjoy some great hostels there and more well known and historically interesting sights than you can shake the proverbial stick at.
