18 Mai 2012 Emil, Suède:
Taroko national park and the Eternal Spring Trail (all of it, not just the first shrine)! |
17 Mai 2012 CHAN, Hong Kong:
Only restaurant beside the hostel. Even the food is not special, the staff are very nice and friendly. |

17 Mai 2012 CHAN, Hong Kong:
Very near the tourist spot. Well situated in natural environment. |

13 Mai 2012 Martin, Allemagne:
You'll have to organize your own nightlife. But after hiking in the mountains you're probably too tired anyway. |
13 Mai 2012 Martin, Allemagne:
- the Shakadang Trail which starts right after the tunnel next to the hostel. To continue the hiking way through the rain forest up to Datong, however, is not worth the effort! Besides it's illegal, because probably you'll have forgotten to ask the National Park Police for permission - and in the National Park Visitor Centre there is nobody who would speak English and explain this to you. - the Eternal Spring Shrine - the Swallow's Grotto (DO borrow a security helmet from the visitor centre BEFORE you go there - there are really stones falling down) Be aware that the old Tunnel of Nine Turns is closed due to falling stones and that it is NOT allowed to walk through the new tunnel. In other words: it is not possible to walk along the entire road through Taroko Gorge, at least not legally. |

There's a shop next to the 7-11 selling fried chicken, fried veg, etc commonly found in night market. |
