Great curry place in Geneva called the Gandhi Cafe, prices were decent (it's Geneva after all) but food was really yummy and service was great. The restaurant is really cute and quirky!

A short walk from the hostel gets you to the Lake which is beautiful. Walk clockwise around the lake and you'll eventually get to an underpass that leads to the botanical gardens. These are really beautiful (and free!) a lovely walk with lots of colours (I visited in spring) and cute deer and other animals!

I stopped off in Geneva en route home from Ajaccio, Corsica (easyjet flies here). It's a very peaceful and beautiful country, I highly recommend it!

Geneva is pretty boring at night. :/ However, the Paquis district is where there are a lot of bars.

There's a lift that will take you to the top of the hill just behind the city. It's worth the 10 francs for the view.
